Serg Dominic Venezuela

Hello, I’m Serg Dominic Venezuela! I am currently an undergraduate student taking Bachelor's Degree in Music major in Music Education with Percussion Emphasis at the University of Santo Tomas.

My percussion playing started when I was at age of 12 playing the drum set and I have been playing ever since. Music was not supposed to be my first option, however I was persuaded and encouraged by my music teacher back in high school.

With the way society looks at music and the arts in the academe, it became a passion for me to change society's perspective on the arts. I want people to realize the true value of the arts; I want them to understand that we artists do not perform or paint or dance just for the money, but to express ourselves and show others what we are capable of.
