Who is Serge Bronstein?

Serge Bronstein is a Russian-born writer and a sociologist, as well as an internet entrepreneur.

Starting in 2018, he has published ground-breaking writings and videos on the inner workings of today's society, particularly the United States, instantly gaining Internet fame and hundreds of thousands of subscribers.

Prior to publishing sociological and philosophical works, he has worked in consulting for US Fortune 500 companies, consequently successfully developing and selling several Internet companies.

Serge has also written and directed a feature film, the Aztec Box in 2012, that has won several awards at film festivals.

Early Life

Serge is Jewish and was born in Moscow, Russia.

He is a distant relative of Joseph Brodsky, a famous Soviet poet and dissident.

Serge has always been fascinated with computers. His first computer in 1989 was a soviet BK-001001, which his father bought for him at the age of 7. At just 10 years old, Serge started writing programs in assembly language.

In 1993 Bronstein moved with family to the United States.

Born in Moscow, Russia, Serge has moved to the US at the age of 13 with his parents when his family relocated to the United States from Russia in the wake of the fall of the Soviet Union.

Serge first moved to Boston, Massachessets, where his father was a PHD candidate at MIT.

His family later moved to Michigan, after his dad obtained a job as a senior research scientist at General Motors.

When his dad was laid off three years later, his family was again forced to relocate, this time to Southern California, where his father worked as a researcher at Wynn Oil, a company that developed fuel additives.

After holding odd jobs in his teens, including a job at McDonalds, Bronstein In his early 20's, Bronstein worked as a software engineer, founding CBCJobs.com, a job search engine. CBCJobs coined the phrase "Apply to Jobs with One Click" and was one of the first sites to implement a quick apply process.[1]. The company has raised more than $1.4M Venture Funding from private investors [2]

In 2002, Bronstein has been diagnosed with keratoconus, an eye disease in which the cornea becomes cloudy resulting in poor vision.

In 2013, Bronstein wrote, directed and produced The Aztec Box, an independent found footage feature film. The film received favorable reviews from Horrornews and MovieRewind

In 2019 Serge moved back to Moscow, Russia to reconnect with his childhood of growing up in USSR in the 80s. However, in 2026 he has moved away from Russia after being unable to settle and integrate into the new reality of life in Russia following the 2022 conflict with Ukraine and the consequent sanctions imposed on Russia.

As of 2026, Serge has been active writing his memoirs and working on a revolutionary fintech AI startup.
