I'm a scientist at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in California. I study the biological interface between the physical and mental sides of visual perception. I also study how we use vision in service of action, in particular how we plan actions prospectively, for many steps ahead, in the changing world. And I'm increasingly involved in translational research of visual media and built environments, such as in this project: Vision Science for Dynamic Architecture
