Since 1992, I have set up software development companies in 4 different countries, from Europe to Latin America. The code that I and my teams wrote powers blue-chip contact centers in the UK, an IMS carrier network in Mexico and the core of a large cloud telecom service provider in the US.
I try to anticipate industry trends. In the mid-90's, this meant working some magic to make speech recognition platforms more effective for network operators worldwide. Ten years later, it was all about implementing cost-competitive Asterisk-based SIP contact center and VoiceXML solutions for dozens of cash-strapped Mexican corporations.
Today, my challenge is to build the most scalable and reliable service-oriented SIP communication platform at the heart of the cloud to process tens of millions of calls daily.
