Sérgio C. Pinheiro

Currently the Galp Energia Innovation Area Manager, he was over 12 years experience in innovation, product/brand management, category/retail management, across multiple sectors (Oil & Gas, FMCG, Retail) in leading companies (Kraft Foods, SONAE, Galp Energia).

He lived and worked in 5 different countries (UK, Spain, France, Belgium and Portugal) and speaks fluently 4 different languages.

Sérgio holds a Master degree in Management from ESCP Europe - With Distinction and was awarded the Prix d'Excellence for the best research project in 1999.

Sérgio has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion to lead people to sart new projects and businesses.

He is a lecturer at Instituto Nacional de Administração, where he teaches, top level public servants, how to innovate.

Sérgio is passionate about Ashtanga yoga and Vipassana meditation.

He played the tenor saxophone in several improvised and jazz music combos, having participated on the CD - Way Out, New Music From Portugal, from Ananana Label.
