Sergio Gallucci

Sergio Gallucci is an engineer who uses multidisciplinary insights to help the international space community make spaceflight safer and more sustainable. He has worked on topics including plasma thrusters, machine learning, autonomy, remote sensing, and the space environment: he is recognized as a pioneer in the field of space sustainability after a winding road of successes and failures, including first delivering his work to orbit at age 20.

Sergio was recognized as one of the Forbes Next 1,000 Upstart Entrepreneurs who are "Redefining the American Dream" in 2021. He was later honored as one of the Forbes 2024 Science 30 Under 30.In 2023 he was recognized as one of the “Under 30” Payload Pioneers who are affecting change across the space domain.
