I have simple tastes, but I like to solve complex problems. I spend time scheming ideas and enjoying a good conversation.

Worked mostly in science and technology. My contributions have been in the field of wireless data communications, in particular, sensor and body area networks. I completed three years of postdoctoral research in those areas. I have co-authored over 30 chapters/articles in books, scientific magazines, journals and refereed conference proceedings.

I'm an old-fashioned social-democrat, if you prefer labels. I am agnostic, honest and pragmatic. I believe in social justice. I am also interested in urbanism, sustainability, ecology and similar topics. I am a meditation novice.
