Sergio Lins

I was born in 1979 and have lived in Recife all my life. I graduated in Business Administration in Recife and am specialising in Higher Education Teaching.

I feel in love with teaching English when I was a student at the age of 15. A teacher inspired me so much that I decided to become an EFL/ESOL teacher. I then decided to take a few language and methodoly courses. In 1997, I took the Basic Teachers Training Couse, a local pre-service course, which gave me a wonderful view of the ELT world.

As for qualifications, I hold the CPE, CELTA, COTE, FTBE, IH COLT and BC E-moderators course. I have been teaching English for over 15 years now, mainly teaching teens and adults, but have substantial experience with young learners. I am also a Cambridge ESOL speaking examiner and have experience with teacher training and consultancy.

Teaching is my passion, and I cannot see myself doing anything not related to it.
