Serhiy Sheremet
Father in United States of America
A year ago I began to work on myself to cure my chronic diseases, such as high blood pressure, arthitis, and muscle spasims. I lost 100 pounds of weight and regained my health. My family doctor canceled all the medications I had been using every day for 10 years. I was very glad that I was able to return to a normal, fulfilling life with my family and at work. Suddenly, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Now I am being prepared for chemotherapy and a complex operation to remove the cancer. We have to drive frequently to the University of Iowa hospital, about 80 miles one way. Expenses and gas money is adding up. I am currently not able to return to work indefinitely. I really need help in the fight for my life. I am 62 years old. 22 years ago my wife, daughter, son and I immigrated from Ukraine. We became the citizens of our country, the United States of America. My wife and I have been working at a factory together. We have two little grandchildren. For my family, I will fight cancer until my last day. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
