Serrano Legrand
Hello. My name is Serrano Legrand. I inherited the name from my father, Serano Sr. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, I am a graduating senior at Northeastern University where I study Finance and Social Entrepreneurship.
For the next 2 years, I have committed to being a street-level bureaucrat humbly apart of Teach for America. I will be teaching mathematics in Atlanta. Though I understand the importance of architecting the blueprint for ones life, I ultimately want to do my best in helping shape this world to the restored perfection it has the potential to be. I have faith that my road to get to that point will fall into place.
I believe in true leadership. I believe in family. I believe in community. I believe in entrepreneurship. I believe in quality education. I believe in morality. I believe in structure and organization. I believe in social change. I believe in the power of transforming the human capacity to want to be great.
