I found a screw in my tire and took it to Firestone for repair. Lo and behold they said they couldn't do a patch since the hole was too close to the side. I mentioned a plug but apparently Firestone does not do tire plugs.

In any case a quick Yelp search found me True Tread tires. I called and Brad said no problem to bring it in.

True Tread is in an industrial park and it is a small tire shop. This is a small business so there are definitely no-frills here. Brad was extremely friendly and did the repair himself. I was in and out of the place in 15 minutes and at an extremely reasonable cost.

Brad mentioned to me that he also installs new tires. I'll definitely check this place out the next time I need tires and if they are competitive with cost then I'll have them done here to support our local small businesses.

I would definitely recommend True Tread if you need a tire repair or are looking for a new set of tires.
