Seth Shapiro

Two-time Emmy® Award winner Seth Shapiro is a global leader in media and technology. An innovator, investor and media historian, His clients and partners have included AT&T, Betfair, Comcast, Disney, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Intel, NBCUniversal, News Corp, WarnerBros; and dozens of SP500, NGO, international and startup clients. He has senior roles at three of the major Hollywood studios and has worked with each of the major companies in the complex.

Mr. Shapiro served as an Adjunct Professor of the USC School of Cinematic Arts and a Governor of the Television Academy, the home of the Emmys. He is author of Amazon bestseller TELEVISION Vol. 1, a history of media 1890-1980. In the public sphere, he has served as an Expert before both the Department of Justice and the Federal Communications Commission. in matters for Warner Media, AT&T, Comcast, and others. As Head of Digital Production at DIRECTV/News Corp, he launched of over 25 services including the first suite of NFL digital products and of TiVo, the first major DVR platform. Prior to this he was a Senior Producer at the Walt Disney Company, a games producer, and began his career as a composer and music label owner.

An active investor, Mr. Shapiro is a trained equity options trader, was an early advocate of blockchain, and has been active in fintech since 2017.
