I love being outside. It brings peace and serenity, along with some of my best ideas. In 2012, I thru-hiked the 2,184 mile Appalachian Trail, leaving me forever changed. 165 days in the wilderness left me realizing things that were truly important to me, and taught me more than all my years of education. I built tremendous character, developed patience, became self-motivated; learned that to succeed sometimes all it takes is shear will, and my personal favorite, discipline. I began my journey thinking I could do anything, and I finished knowing I could do anything. It's amazing how far one foot in front of the other can take you.
I love to challenge myself both physically and mentally. If you don't catch me outside riding my bike or running, you'll prolly find me posted up in a coffee bar, in search of that perfect cup.
Passions: the outdoors, coffee, running, cycling, music, helping others, changing the world.
You only have to remember that what you've done in your life may change what someone's doing in their life. And it changes everything.
