As a kid, I loved libraries because they fed my enthusiasm for discovery. This excitement grew into passions for research, storytelling, and using information to generate new ideas. Not surprisingly, I was a philosophy and religion major in college.
Today, I leverage my passions and skills to help businesses create value through compelling, yet practical, plans for growth.
I excel at business development, strategic planning, and innovation. I’m in my comfort zone when developing and cultivating outward-facing relationships that bring people and institutions together to solve problems, and translate broad concepts into concrete pathways for growth.
Knowledge is a power best shared, which is why I love conversations. I’m fulfilled when I help people accomplish their objectives, avoid mistakes, and benefit from my experiences and connections. Because I have worked as an employee, consultant, owner, and mentor, I appreciate the varied viewpoints that combine to produce the best ideas, plans, and implementations.
I started my professional life as a corporate transactional and securities attorney. I enjoyed the research and regulatory matters, but I envied the elasticity of people in other sectors, who moved in and out of operations, strategy, and innovation – all in one day, if not one meeting! So, I “retired” from the law and started business consulting.
Almost two decades later, I remain a principal at a consulting firm focused on business development, strategic planning, and competitive advantage planning for organizations pursuing substantial growth.
I love my work and I have boundless enthusiasm for developing informed, creative, focused, and winning strategies.
