Mr. Ali Hamidi is the Cyber Risk Manager within the Defense, Security & Justice (DS&J) sector providing over 15 years of cybersecurity services to the DoD and Intelligence Community (IC). Ali has experience managing small and large projects within the DoD and IC. Ali is currently responsible for managing the delivery, execution, quality, and risk for over 25 personnel that span 5 locations. Ali manages the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Step 4 process, overseeing security control assessors perform security control assessments for over 1200 systems at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Prior to NGA, Ali led a cybersecurity DISA CCRI project at DISA overseeing NIPR, SIPR & SCI for various U.S. Military installations, DoD & IC to verify security compliance with DISA, various U.S. Military installations, and DoD to verify security compliance with STIG for CCRI, RMF & A&A activities. Provide IT security guidance to Authorizing Officials, Information System Owners, and the Contracting Officer's Representative. Collect, review, and/or update, and maintain IT Security supporting artifacts such as SSP’s TTP’s POAM’s.Experience with developing or modifying CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system. Provided cyber security assessments for the Defense Information Systems Agency-Field Security Operations in support of C&A and Cyber Command Readiness Inspections. Provide cyber security and privacy analysis and consulting throughout the security assessment and compliance lifecycle process. Responsibilities include planning, developing, finalizing, and continuous monitoring of cyber security privacy policies, programs, compliance artifacts, and/or standards in support of government and industry security compliance, systems accreditation, and management. Manage and/or administer the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to assure systems meet security and privacy requirements.
