Don Sandev Ferdinando

Hi there! I'm currently a 18 year old student at Park House English School born on the island of Sri Lanka - but I've lived in Qatar my whole life. I'm studying for my A Levels in History, Economics, Mathematics and Business Studies, and will be joining the Yale-NUS Class of 2022!

I'm both a social and hard working person, with a passion for learning French and music. I've been playing the guitar and acoustic drums for a few years and I'm a fan of pop and R&B music. Outside of my spare time, I'm involved with Model United Nations and other aspects of student leadership to find innovative and sustainable ways in engaging young people with global issues. My current position as an Outreach Ambassador at MUN Impact provides me a platform to achieve this.

I've served as the Secretary General of THIMUN Qatar 2018, the largest MUN conference in the Middle East, and as the Secretary General of PHESMUN II too. During my journey through high school, I've had the honour of working with projects and organisations such as Online-MUN, Maverick Youth and the Hope for Education and Leadership in Afghanistan (HELA).
