ll victims and witnesses of crime are encouraged to file a police report first. To file a police report, go to the nearest police station or call Police Non-Emergency for an officer to be dispatched to come and take the report. SF Victim services may be obtained through the District Attorney's Victim Services Division. To inquire about services or resources available to you, call to reach a representative 24 x 7 or submit a request and indicate when is the best time to call and provide police report number, if available (not required). Every victim deserves to be treated with fairness and respect for his or her privacy and dignity, and to be free from intimidation, harassment, and abuse, throughout the criminal or juvenile justice process.
