Welcome to my blog . My name is Shailja , You can call me Shelly , which is one of many nicknames I have . I was born and raised in India and moved to USA in 2002 .

This blog is all about adventures with food in my kitchen . I believe that cooking should be fun and there should be flexibility with the recipes . Food has always been an important part in my life . i was taught to cook by my mother at a young age . Besides cooking and baking I am obsessed with canning too .

All the recipes on this site are personally tried , tested & tasted by me in my kitchen .
