Hello everyone! My name is Rand Trumbo (as you can tell). I am 16 years old and I currently live in Queen Creek, AZ. However, I have spent the majority of my life in Watertown NY. Check the back of your tree-shaped car fresheners and you will see my home-city! I am a ward of the state. For those who don't know this means that my legal parent is the state of Arizona. I have been in the Child Protective Services system since 1998. Unfortunately, this has forced me to get left behind throughout the majority of my life. It is a real struggle to escape the system. We lose our family, our friends and ultimately our childhood. However, I have found solace in gaming. I started playing games on the original PlayStation. My favorite games at the time were Tomb Raider and MGS. I was constantly moving between different homes and placements. But video games stayed constant for me. I can still remember getting my first PS2. It was Easter and I was given some money to go out and get a couple of games. I got Gun and Star Wars Battlefront 2. These games were amazing to me. They led me to a passion for gaming that has never died out. In fact, I had a neighbor who would come over to my house and play Battlefront. He actually introduced me to Runescape. I still play this game today. Now I own a PS3, PS4, Vita and a gaming PC. I play games because they have allowed me to escape the struggles of my situation. I currently enjoy a PSN trophy-hunting pastime. ( I complete games in their entirety in order to earn Platinum Trophies.) I love rock music. Namely SlipKnot, Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed. I also enjoy making and editing videos. I am currently on the path to earn a Bachelors Degree in Game Design. I hope to use this in an effort to join the industry as a designer. I would also like to run a successful YouTube channel.
