I was born in a one horse town in Iowa in 1977. I lived there until my parents moved us to Missouri in 1985. I attended Rock Bridge Senior High School in Columbia and then joined the Missouri National Guard until I realized that I had no desire to repaint shovels and pick axes one weekend a month for the next 8 years so I requested and was allowed to withdraw before basic training. It was then, in December 1997 that I began my career as a plumber and pipefitter. (New construction-no digging in toilets or septic tanks for me) Initially I plumbed new houses but bigger things pulled at me. I applied at a large commercial and industrial mechanical company in January 2002 and began work the day after I was hired. I have been with Questec Mechanical Inc. basically since that day. (Had a 3 year hiatus from August 2007-November 2010) While I was away from Questec I worked as an Eco-friendly septic system installer and heavy equipment operator. I returned to Questec and remain to this day. I am proud to be a part of this thriving, expanding business. When I started in 2002 there were maybe 25-30 field hands and now we fluctuate between 70-100. Questec has also begun expanding our area of operation. We are opening an office in Louisville Kentucky this year and will begin working there shortly after. We are also expanding toward St. Louis and Kansas City. That should be an awesome experience because Columbia won't have buildings as large. Anyway, aside from work I enjoy watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Mizzou Tigers and Da Chicago Bears. I also enjoy fishing and golf but don't have near enough time for that as I used to. Ok, I think I'm done. Out of breath. Lol
