Graduated from the University of Calgary in 2002 with a degree in Sociology. Although beginning my academic career with the intention of graduating with a business degree and later an MBA an electives coarse in my first year changed my trajectory forever. Due to the insightfulness of an early professor and mentor it dawned on me that nothing would be or could be more relevant to business than the development, structure and functioning of human society itself. Little did I realize then how true that statement would prove to be.
I use my education and love of life long learning to approach today’s business problems by offering solutions that address the development, structures and functioning of a globalized society and its impact on the business landscape. My innovative and progressive systems approach has led to the creation of many frameworks and methodologies that have directly resulted in the creation of $100’s of millions of dollars in revenue and profits.
I personally believes that Einstein had it right when he said “We can’t solve today's problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” Einstein's assertion is the foundation for Integrity Human Capital’s approach to business, leadership, and people development and acts as the rally call for Shabana Ahmad & Associates approach to solving today’s business and social challenges.
In addition to my education I have enjoyed a career in the financial services industry where I am regularly acknowledged for my superior performance and contribution to clients, colleagues and industry peers. I have designed, delivered and deployed many successful business and charitable campaigns and I believe that in the 21st century organizations and individuals willing to embrace a social technographic and social-historical discourse will not only dominate their respective industries but will successfully navigate the emerging business landscape. I believe the world is embarking on the Greatest Trans-Demographical and Geographical transfer of wealth in history. I am preparing and positioning my clients to capitalize on the opportunities that will be created over the coming decade.
