Shabir Khan Durrani was Born on 13th April 1971, In Turangzai, Charsadda City Of Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa In family of Haji Mohammad Saeed Durrani.

As the surname indicates they were afghan tribes and their family belongs to Ahmad Shah Abdali.

He has done his masters in Journalism and Pushto subjects from University of Peshawar.

From the very start of his student life he was President of Pukhtoon students Federation and was a progressive Nationalist of Pro Moscow left wing.

Due to inspiration and having mentors like Ghani Khan Baba, Ajmal Khattak and Dr Kabir Stori he started His poetry work from 1986 when he was student of Government Degree College Charsadda.

He is a researcher, Poet, journalist, columnist, and having approach on regional and international relations and politics.

He was Chief Editor of weekly newspaper Ikhtiyar Peshawar, and then he joined Dastaar International Magazine as Sub editor.

He is an Active member and president of Ghani Khan pushto adabi, tahqeeqi, saqafati Jirga, Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa, and also Coordinator of Alami Pukhto Congress.
