My name is Shabnam, (in Persian means morning dew), currently a student at Seneca College and living at Richmond Hill. I am a creative artist who is in love with baking and cooking. I was raised in an artistic and traditional Persian family, with a passion for baking, art and flowers. My educational path was in computers (Computer Networking & Technical Support) leading to several years of working within the technology field. My lifetime dream was having my own cake shop, so I decided to take the leap changing my career and follow my passion. I got my designer cake certificate from Bonnie Gordon college as well as Floral Design Diplomafrom International Career School Canada.

Finally on my birthday, Feb 14, 2017, I opened the door of my heaven “Coconut Heaven Cake Shop & Cafe”. I had the best days and most challenging ones for few years and was able to make beautiful cakes for so many occasions serving the community of Newmarket. Oct 2019 I had to make the hard decision of selling the store.

Although the shop was closed but my passion for baking never changed. Coconut Heaven Blog is a page to share my passion with the rest of the world.

For the past couple of years I have been the Social Media Manager of Coconut Heaven Blog, from building the website to social media content creation, posting and more. Then I decided to take Social Media post education certificate at Seneca to professionally learn what I have been doing on my own and start the new chapter in my career journey. I am sure very soon I will be helping so many other businesses grow using the best marketing strategy.
