SHACKLEBREAKERS Concerts for Freedom
This is an Open Letter to Donald and Shelly Stirling and Counsel:
Your objective is to retain ownership of the team. Here's the best way to do it:
Recognize the problem: RACISM IS BAD FOR BUSINESS.
The NBA is A BUSINESS.
The NBA will conduct business in a manner that reflects the will of their customers; the People. The People are the jurors who preside over the jury box in the highest court in the country; The Court of Public Opinion. The Court of Public Opinion has already judged your actions as guilty, and the penalties that have been imposed upon you by the NBA are evidence of that.
The burden is now upon you to offer up some new evidence that the jury hasn't previously considered.
Show the People that you are ready to make BIG MOVES!
Do something REAL to fight the scourge of Racism and begin the healing process. ENDORSE the Shacklebreakers Campaign: Reparations to African-Americans for the crimes of the Institution of Slavery.
Here is the best way to do it: Two phone calls and a pledge.
TMZ has covered these events from the very beginning. Call TMZ, or simply send them a text message that reads: "We endorse @shacklebreakers"
Place the second call to Scott Pelley at CBS News. Tell him simply,"We endorse @shacklebreakers, and want to take this opportunity to invite President Obama, and Magic Johnson to the first two Concerts for Freedom. We ask that they RSVP via Twitter: @shacklebreakers."
MAKE THE PLEDGE. The Shacklebreakers Campaign has created two Concerts for Freedom. On the EAST COAST:http://bit.ly/R101D7And, on the WEST COAST:http://bit.ly/1sM4fLb
Make the pledge to MATCH the funds raised by both concerts. Four million dollars. TWO million dollars will pay for the entertainment at the concerts. TWO million dollars will go to THE CENTRAL PARK FIVE to supplement the costs of their ongoing litigation with the City of New York. They were wrongfully imprisoned.
You are preparing yourselves for a lengthy and expensive WAR in the courtroom. Let your ACTIONS speak directly to the jury of The Court of Public Opinion. "He who knows when he can fight, and when he cannot, will be victorious."- Sun Tzu. Be Victorious..@shacklebreakers
