Shadow Traders

Founded in 2005, ShadowTraders produces a number of educational programs designed to teach the finer points of futures trading to both novices and professionals. Operating under its parent company, Pure Reason, LLC, ShadowTraders offers a four-day intensive online seminar as well as self-paced programs. Since the company's founding, more than 2,000 students have participated in these and other learning programs and continue to take advantage of regular updates and ongoing learning opportunities.

Students of ShadowTraders' programs learn a range of skills necessary to understand and succeed in futures trading. These include understanding the timing of futures trading, including the best and worst times of the day to enter a trade. For students seeking more immediate training, the four-day seminar offered by Pure Reason, LLC, and ShadowTraders covers more than 20 trading strategies that allow traders to engage in successful strategies in just two or three hours in the morning. The first two days of the online seminar cover the theoretical background necessary for successful trading. The second two days include live trading situations while being coached one-on-one by seasoned professionals. The course also includes simulated trading training, which helps students hone their skills in real time without risk.

The ShadowTraders system also teaches students trading strategies for e-mini futures, crude oil, spot gold, Treasury bonds, and currency trading.
