Hi There!
I'm Shaelyn Blaney, a tutor, child and elder care provider, and Executive director of a new tutoring company called S.h.a.d.i.e. Grove Tutoring. I'm passionate about working with people and inspiring children to succeed.
My educational background is in media with a concentration in Radio. I'm a Bulldog from the University of Redlands Class of 2014 with a Bachelors of Arts majoring in Visual and Media Studies. I enjoy analyzing media and conducting audio interviews. I have experience working at NPR as a radio intern who was able to conduct interviews for an on-air program called KVC-aRts. I'm a people person who enjoys one-on-one interactions, so the jump to working with kids seemed obvious to me.
I'm a prospective Masters of Education student seeking to further my education and be an example to the students that I tutor and work with. As a lifetime learner, I am excited about the idea of going back to school in the fall.
