Dr. Shafaat Pirani is a board-certified Geriatric Pharmacist with a certification in Medication Therapy Management from the American Pharmacists Association and a teaching credential from the University of South Florida. He holds courtesy faculty appointments with the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and the University of South Florida Taneja College of Pharmacy, where he actively supports student development and advances pharmacy education through academic mentorship and clinical guidance.
Shafaat Bahram Pirani is a distinguished member of Phi Lambda Sigma, the national pharmacy leadership society. By integrating clinical practice with technology, he drives meaningful impact across patient care and pharmacy management.
Currently, Dr. Pirani is the Chief Clinical Officer at Wellgistics Health, a next-generation publicly traded pharmaceutical distributor in Tampa. Wellgistics specializes in digital prescription routing and AI-powered hub fulfillment. In his role, he leverages expertise in supply chain, regulatory compliance, clinical operations, telemedicine, and growth strategies to help develop scalable digital health solutions. His leadership has been central in shaping innovative models for prescription access and efficiency.
Previously, Shafaat Pirani, Florida, served as Chief Clinical and Regulatory Compliance Officer for Bonum Health and TRxADE Health, both public healthcare technology companies. His career also includes leadership roles with Alliance Pharma Solutions, mail-order pharmacies, and nonprofit interdisciplinary clinics.
