Shafik Nabil Bahou

Shafik is a very dynamic individual that refers to himself as The A.P.E. which reminds of us our common primal roots and stands for Artist. Philanthropist. Entrepreneur.

His work involves marrying the arts into education to empower the S.T.E.A.M movement. He has dedicated his life to positive social change while using the arts as his medium and education as the bridge to a world that has life-learning continuity. In addition, a socially conscious reformed educational system that inspirationally fosters creativity, passion, humility, diversity, camaraderie, and mastery.

By freelancing as an actor, he effectively uses the theater as his laboratory to understand human nature in practicum, and marries his experiences to his formal degrees in Behavioral Neuroscience and Cognitive Sciences in Education. He aims for a PhD that is based on researching how to develop intrinsic motivation and domain mastery for a mass individual education plan; by strategically integrating music, role-play (embodied cognition), group dynamics, and gaming into a project based applied learning, constructivist, pedagogical system.

He envisions a world where people truly know why they work and are inspired by all that they do. A world where people learn not only to make a living but learn how to live. A world where people can be who they are, do what they love, and be supported for doing so.
