Shafina Shogun

Hi everybody, I really wanted to create a small page to tell you all about myself, I know for me, the blogs i'll read and keep up with are the ones where I feel like I know the person a little and not just some standard impersonal post.

My full name is Shafina Shogun, I live in Dundee, a beautiful little town in Scotland. I have an incredible husband and two gorgeous little boys. I'm surrounded by family and friends here and I love it. They are all my support network and my sounding board. I was recently asked what my mind would look like in a picture. It took me ages to work it out but I think if my mind were in a picture it would be the floor of one of those crazy stockbroker offices full of constant chatter...not a good picture! Trust me with a mind like mine, I need my support network!

I can't remember when I fell in love with make-up...I'm definitely not one of those people on x factor who talk about having lived for singing since they were 3 months in utero. Somewhere along the road in my life I fell hard for make-up. It excites me, brings me joy, makes me feel good and happy and it never gets boring. Further along the road I fell in love with bringing that joy to others. Yes we're beautiful naturally but make-up is something different. Its this special place we get to go to where we can really bring out different aspects of ourselves and seeing that surprise and joy in another person face...that's beautiful!

That's why I created my blog. So that I could draw a new picture of my mind and remove some of that chatter and so that I could reach others out there who share my true love; beauty. It's a brave step for me but I'm dedicated to this creation and I only hope you love reading it as much as I love writing it.
