Shaheen Khan-Jones is an experienced educator and leadership consultant. Over the years, Mrs. Khan-Jones has served in many positions, giving her the expertise and knowledge to offer a valuable perspective in a leadership role. Currently, she serves in a leadership position at BMAT. In her job, she performs various functions including coaching the second and third year teachers, coordinating the NQT programme, and tracking the able, gifted and talented students to ensure they make exceptional progress.
Since obtaining her Postgraduate Certificate in Education from University College London in 1988, Mrs. Khan-Jones has served in various positions including Head Teacher, Principal and Leadership Consultant. As a consultant, she offers services tailored to her client’s needs, helping them reach diverse goals including improving student performance and improving whole school teaching and learning, whilst improving school performance.
When not devoted to professional projects, Shaheen makes time to volunteer. She has been greatly involved with Caring Cancer Trust, a charity for which she has not only raised money, but also donated her time. She regularly leads groups of children recovering from cancer on Kids2Go trips. These trips offer children the chance to process the difficult experiences of cancer treatment and recovery while also engaging in fun activities such as sailing, skiing or a variety of arts.
Mrs. Khan-Jones strives to lead an active, healthy lifestyle by engaging in activities like yoga, attending the gym and practising sailing. In addition, she enjoys cooking, reading, travelling and attending live theatre productions, the opera and live music events.
