‘I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination.’ This is a famous saying by Albert Einstein which I really admire and follow. I believe that imagination is the greatest strength of an architect. The more wild you get with your imaginations the more creative ideas you can achieve. According to me this is the secret ingredient of all well-known architects (I would like to be counted in them one day).
As of now, I am Shaheen Nazif, an architect by profession (and choice). Born on 5th December I am a Sagittarian and thus optimistic, freedom-loving, honest, straight forward and philosophical. I am passionate about things that interest me. Sketching, designing buildings and writing poetry are few of them. We all know that India is a land of vivid cultures. Thus being a true Indian by heart and soul, I like listening to music and dancing. I am also a trained Kathak dancer. I read voraciously and collect books as well. I believe ‘Attaining knowledge is a never-ending process’, be it in any field.
Ever since I started going to play school and built houses of sand, I had a dream of building my dream house, thus, evolving the passion of becoming an architect in my mind. Finally, in the year 2005, I came to Apeejay School of Architecture And Planning, to fulfill my dreams of becoming an architect. My parents support and care made me even more passionate about my profession. The five years of my college life was the best part in my life as I was so near to achieving my dream. During this time I’ve developed skills in various computer softwares like Autocad, 3dsmax, Sketch up, Photoshop, Microsoft Office and others which helps me in playing with my ideas.
I want to be a part of a bigger and better society with more and more knowledge of architecture. I want to grow in life, as a person and as an architect.
