SHAHID KHAN

A career bureaucrat. Retired from Indian Revenue Service in 2009 after 37 years. Was at IIT Roorkee doing B.E. in 1967-71, and University of Bath in 1989-90 for MSc (Fiscal Studies).

Immodest claims of being an expert on e-governance, tax policy and international taxation. Won Prime Minister's award for excellence in public administration for 2008-09.

Interested in urdu poetry, old hindi film music and lost public causes.
