Shahin Huseynli

Shahin Huseynli is an accomplished expert in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing with extensive experience in both fields. Throughout his career, he has worked with various international organizations, leveraging his advanced knowledge to contribute to numerous projects and initiatives.

Currently, Shahin heads the GIS and Remote Sensing Department at Digital Umbrella, where he oversees the development and implementation of cutting-edge technologies and solutions. His leadership and expertise have been instrumental in driving the department's success and expanding its capabilities.

In addition to his role at Digital Umbrella, Shahin serves as a consultant for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in Azerbaijan. In this capacity, he provides valuable insights and guidance on the application of GIS, remote sensing technologies, digital agricultural solutions and innovation management to support sustainable agricultural practices and enhance food security in the region.
