Shahriar James Ekbatani
Commercial Real Estate Developer, Chairman Lotus Behavioral Health, and Entrepreneur in Orlando, Florida
I am a business leader, commercial real estate developer, and nonprofit founder with more than 40 years of experience building organizations and creating opportunities that make a lasting impact. After immigrating to the United States from Iran at the age of 18, I built a career in healthcare leadership, serving in executive roles before founding and growing my own healthcare company, which was acquired by a national firm in 2018.
Today, I serve as Chairman of the Board of Lotus Behavioral Health, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping adolescents overcome drug and alcohol addiction. I am also actively involved in commercial real estate development throughout Central Florida, leading projects that support economic growth and strengthen local communities.
My work is guided by a simple philosophy: define the desired outcome, create a thoughtful plan, and persevere until the goal is achieved. Whether through business, real estate, or philanthropy, I am passionate about building organizations, developing communities, and creating positive, lasting change.
Outside of work, I enjoy boating, biking, canoeing, traveling, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
