I am Presently The Chief Executive Officer, Precious Microtech Private Ltd, Chennai. Graduated from University of Madras as a Bachelor of Engineering, I left for Tokyo to take over the Japanese operations of my family's global gem stone business and having 2 decades of Jewellery Experience in International Business.
I soon developed an interest in Jewellery designing. My designs were soon accepted and appreciated by connoisseurs and opinion makers of the fashion and jewelry industry. It was the exclusive line of diamond Jewellery that I designed for Walt Disney, which sold across their 100 plus stores across Japan, gave me the recognition among the fashion fraternity as an accomplished Jewellery designer.
I have hands on experience working along with jewelers of Top jewellery brands in the world. I have been part of the creative team of a leading luxury brand Scintilla Monaco, based out of Monte Carlo, and was instrumental in introducing Scintilla Monaco as well as several other European jewellery brands in the Japanese market.
launching Biblioteca Preciosa (meaning "Precious Library") in 2003 at Tokyo, introduced a new concept of jewellery store, where the customers could not only buy jewellery, but also experience and learn the culture and history of world jewellery from the extensive collection of books at the "library".
I enjoy travelling and meeting people of various nationalities, and believe that there is always something that one could learn from other cultures. I enjoy reading books and listening to music from across the globe.
