Shai-Anne Davis

My name is Shai-Anne Davis. I am a Canadian sprinter, and have been competing for Canada since 2009. I am 20 years old and am ranked the fastest women in the country in the 100m(11.33) and the third fastest in the 200m(23.12). This summer I actually competed at the World Championships in Moscow, Russia and finished 6th in the 4×100 women’s relay achieving a new Canadian record of 42.99, making ourselves World Champion finalists. Aside from track my other passion is photography and Graphic Designing. I have always been a creative person but as of recently I have started my photography brand and that is “ShyPhotography” and hope to one day pursue it more as a hobby.

My official brand for my self is referred to as JP, my coach actually thought of this and ever since, it’s become a part of me. I have scoliosis meaning there are curvatures in my spine. And because I am a sprinter, my coach thought it was clever to state that I wear a jet pack every time I run.

And in two short paragraphs, that sums up who I am.
