My Journey to Everest Base Camp Trekking
Life is so unpredictable and surprising. Last month I got a call from one of my uncle that he is not going to Nepal for the Everest Base Camp Trekking trip which he has purchased. He asked me to go instead of him. I got as excited as I was thinking about doing something during my holidays. The moment he asked me to go I agreed readily. I searched in an internet about Nepal and I found out that this is the best place to be in South Asia as it is the home of the world’s tallest mountain Mt. Everest.
Guide Shailesh
I couldn’t wait longer for my trip to this Himalayan nation. Ever since I heard the news that I was going to Nepal I was excited as ever. The day finally came for my Everest Base Camp Trekking. My uncle had booked the Everest Base Camp Trekking package with the Nepal Trekking Routes Treks & Expedition where I met my trek guide and the company owner Mr. Shailesh. I find it very pleasant about his personality and the level of knowledge moment his team welcomed me at the Nepal’s International Airport. The journey began with the flight to Lukla. I was anxious, excited and nervous all together. The airport is very renowned across the globe as the world’s most extreme airport of the world. Once I landed after about 3 hours of walking reached the Phakding for the day’s rest. It’s wonderful feeling the first day of the trekking as I crossed a single suspension bridge which was featured in the Everest Movie as well and my guide Mr. Shailesh mentioned that the bridge just before Namche Bazaar is the main depicted on the movie which I saw on the way to Namche after the best rest in Phakding. The Namche Bazaar caught my eye as you can find the world class restaurant, bars and shopping arcades in such high mountain as well. My guide told me that this place is the hub of the Sherpa people of the Khumbu region of Nepal. For the acclimatization procedure we stayed one more day in Namche hiking to the Everest View Hotel. The Syangboche airport which is the world’s highest located airport could also be observed in the same day. The first view of the Mount Everest, Amadablam along with lots of Himalayas really made my acclimatization trip overwhelming.
The next day’s trekking took me to the small monastery tow
