I'm Shakel Ahmed, known as Shak. I've spent over 20 years working for cybersecurity vendors, helping organisations measure how their security really holds up against real-world attacks. These days I focus on AI security: how organisations adopt it safely, and how attackers already use it.

I founded CyberDesserts.com, a skills and knowledge hub for practitioners and students. I mentor people getting into security and levelling up, speak at conferences, and build free hands-on labs.
