Shalin Sheth

Shalin Sheth is currently an Senior Associate at Second Century Ventures. Prior to Second Century Ventures, Shalin worked at Google where he developed sales strategy for their daily deal product to reach the 15M SMBs in the US. Shalin was previously a Product Manager at Tabula, a venture backed Silicon Valley start-up, where he set the direction of their software resulting in the alpha release of their cloud based solution and led their first customer engagement. Prior to Tabula he worked at Xilinx, a semiconductor company, where he defined new product features and was awarded two patents on security solutions.

Shalin was an early board member for the Foundation for Freedom, San Francisco based education non-profit, where he helped grow the number of international schools supported from 3 schools to 13 over the course of three years. He has also worked with OneBrick, Habitat for Humanity, Grid Alternatives and Engineers Without Borders. His social interests are centered in education, housing and alternative energy.

Shalin holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and has earned a MS and BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
