Shalom Ernest is a leadership trainer, management consultant, clarity coach, and a youth development professional.
He has almost a decade experience in building human capital in nonprofit, faith, media, education, private and government sectors. He speaks, consults and trains for groups and organizations.
Shalom is a certified management specialist with distinction in time management by the London graduate school and is currently pursuing an M.A in Organizational Leadership. He is certified in Effective Leadership Communication by Centre for Social Awareness Advocacy and Ethics, Maryland USA.
Shalom serves on the leadership team of the Inspired to Lead Institute, a globally affiliated leadership training institute certified by the John Maxwell Team. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Management Consulting (IMC) Nigeria, and also mentors with the Tony Elumelu Foundation's Mentorship Program. He is an alumnus of the Friends for Leadership Network, an international network of leaders and entrepreneurs focused on promoting multilateral economic and humanitarian projects across over 120 nations, He is also an alumnus of the prestigious Platform Public Service Bootcamp under The Platform NG.
As the principal at Clarity Conclave, Shalom leads a thought leadership and clarity hub that empowers individuals and groups to lead, live out their design, and express their highest purpose, freedom, and true success.
In 2018, Shalom founded the Youth Making Impact Initiative, a youth-led nonprofit organization aimed at bridging the leadership, skill, and talent development gap among youth. Through capacity development, mentorship, community groups, grassroot mobilization and social impact projects, the organization has impacted over 10,000 young people across Nigeria and beyond, from inception.
Recognised for both substance and service, Shalom’s leadership has earned him several national and regional honors, including the MLA Foundation Transformational Leadership Award, the National Orientation Agency Award, and recognition as one of the 100 Change-Makers on the Plateau. In 2021, he was named among the 20 Most Influential Young People in Taraba State, a testament to his growing influence and impact.
