Shalom Little

I use hip hop as my main form of expression. I vent about issues with spirituality, racism, as well as my personal examination of struggles within the political, religious, and social infrastructures.

I chose my first name Shalom because I continually search for “peace” within myself and wants others to find inner peace within themselves. I chose the last name Little from studying a childhood hero – Malcolm X. I chose Little over X because I realize that Malcolm had to go through a major transitional phase of “progression”.

I attempt to challenge myself and others through music. I choose to write and perform content with substance. At the same time my interests are not to preach and push the common propaganda exposed in music today. I want to present my on-going life story to others.
