I was a Registered Respiratory Therapist that worked out in the field for over 15 years. I got tired to being around sick people, unhealthy people, people that were on 20 medications a day.
We are witnessing a Global Health Crisis. Today , more than 1/3 of American adults are overweight or obese. 347 million people have Diabetes. Everyday 2500 Americans die of cardiovascular disease.
A stressful lifestyle, a career you dislike, not exercising, eating bad foods; using preservative driven foods and products all aid in breaking down your body and making it vulnerable to diseases.
We need to start viewing food as our new medicines and cures. WE ARE WHAT WE EAT! Dieting is not fun, its not something most people can maintain for long periods of time. So, why diet? Why not just change the way you eat instead?
As a Health Coach I can help you see foods differently, I can teach you how to listen to your body, adding a new technique a week that replaces a bad one. Together we can change your food patterns; evaluate your cravings and why they happen, replace not so good choices with better cleaner food choices. We can also evaluate moods after meals, explore the difference between seasonal foods. We will discuss Primary Foods and explore techniques on how to relieve stress; so your able to Live life in balance!!
Why am I different? I too struggle with foods and choices daily and I am here to teach and not judge! We can do this together one step at a time, one day at a time. One person's food is another person's poison and I get that. WE are all different.
