Final year Law and Politics Student still figuring out which direction I want to take my career in.

I’m a multifaceted person by nature meaning I want and need to explore many areas. This however does not mean I’m indecisive. My education over the years and especially in university has shown that there are many areas and directions I can go and I want to explore.

What I do know is that I’m a leader by nature and I’m currently grooming myself to fall into a position of great responsibility and authority one day. Thus I am eager to gain more work experience and internships in order to build on skill sets needed to succeed in the cooperate world.

I am a firm believer that the only way success can be achieved and leaders made is through education; both in school and out. With this belief I have spent my time in university so far wisely. First year working for Reach Out a local charity dedicated to helping young people from low socioeconomic backgrounds to improve their numeracy and literacy skills as well as build on self-confidence so they can understand their potential. Second year brought on the challenge of being Netball Captain as well as Events Officer for the African and Caribbean Society. The first resulting in moving from seventh to second place in the university league and the latter resulting in 166 members making it the biggest cultural society on campus.
