I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. Just a few hours east of Detroit, MI. My husband and I have been fostering children for the last 13 years. During this duration of time we have cared for over 20 children. In 2010 my husband’s job moved my family and I to Raleigh, NC. After getting a little familiar with my new city, I begin working little jobs here and there until I just decided to go to school and get a degree. In 2016 I graduated from Wake Technical Community College with an associate in Early Childhood Education. After graduating from WTCC I decided to attend The University of North Carolina at Greensboro for a short period of time. I took some time off from UNCG as an attempt to balance life’s curve balls and once I got things in order in my life I then decided to apply to North Carolina Central University for BS in Psychology.
