I'm a Detroit native and an award-winning journalist who and has gained a great deal of experience in the world of journalism and broadcasting. I've worked as a radio host, anchor, reporter, and editor.

I have volunteered my time to numerous charitable and civic organizations over the years including the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. I've served on a lot of boards too -- just too many to list here.

I've been fortunate enough to be recognized by the School of Broadcast and Cinematic Arts at Central Michigan University as a National Broadcasting Society Outstanding Service award recipient, Broadcast and Cinematic Arts Special Talent Scholarship recipient, and a Tom and Audrey Lico Memorial Scholarship recipient. I am also a two-time Michelle Obama Pink Rose award nominee.

I graduated from Central Michigan University cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts.
