Shammiesworld was thought of in the summer of 2006 and flourished in fall 2007. It suddenly became a reality and took shape January 2008 faster than we originally thought. Shammie and I wanted to create a website that everyone could use as a great outlet for all animals. We wanted it to be free and user friendly. Shammie's Bio: Shammie is a full breed yellow Labrador retriever and she came into my home on December 2005. As a puppy she chewed up my carpet and ransacked my house but after some obedience classes she became my best friend. She is a very energetic dog with a giddy type of personality which keeps me on my toes. She enjoys a wide range of hobbies especially playing catch. If you haven't noticed already Shammie loves the camera which made me realize her true potential. You may wonder where Shammie got her name. Well, since she is a hot-rod car dog I decided to name her after a popular car towel; hence the name Shammie. I guess you can say she's a ball catching, hot rodding, picture hogging retriever.
