I am One of 1000 giving their about.me page to be about so-much-more. Rural farmers in Kenya... We believe that by investing in rural farmers we can help end poverty and eradicate hunger.

Without an irrigation pump, rural farmers engage in “bucket farming,” spending hours bending over their crops pouring water out of a heavy bucket. It’s tedious, time-consuming, and nearly impossible to grow more than a small plot. So I am in support of helping provide kickstart irragation pumps to farmers so they can feed their families.
