The recipient of an associate of arts in information technology from Northern Virginia Community College, Shana Lynn Davis worked throughout college as a server at Cheesecake Factory in McLean, Virginia. Her hospitality experience opened up opportunities to work as a server and bartender at high-end District of Columbia restaurants and night clubs, such as The Huxley, Barcode, and Eden. Shana Lynn Davis also worked over a year as a bartender with STORY Nightclub in Miami Beach, Florida.

During her seven years in the hospitality industry, Shana Lynn Davis greeted and served a high volume of guests, managed inventory, handled cash, and fulfilled social media obligations across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. In 2016, she enrolled at George Mason University, where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in business marketing.

Beyond her professional and educational pursuits, she enjoys working out at the gym between four and six times a week. She previously trained in Kumdo, a Korean sword-based martial art, with US Hwa Rang Kwan and won multiple awards. She also supports the OneUmbrella Foundation, a nonprofit that aims to unite people of different backgrounds and provide help to those in need.
