From his broad base of consumer service roles, Shane Hodgson brings more than 20 years of experience working in teams to solve problems and build success for clients, volunteers and employers. Currently, Shane enjoys the role of Service Desk Manager and Systems Consultant at BridgeNet Technology Consultants. Prior to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Shane served as chief of information and reference for Tulane University Medical School's Matas Medical Library.

Outside his IT career, Shane is a devoted husband and father, serving in volunteer capacities in every school his children have attended since his eldest began Madisonville Elementary in 2005. Shane was instrumental in founding the PTA at Lancaster Elementary and led Eagle Dads for Madisonville Junior High. Shane also volunteered as a facilitator for Boot Camp for New Dads at St. Tammany Parish Health System.

Shane holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University, with focus in history and government. He is a YMCA Northshore Hero and a graduate of Leadership St. Tammany. Shane has served as president of PTA in all Madisonville schools and was recognized by District PTA for a decade of leadership with the life service award.
