Shane Johnson

Shane Johnson is currently researching and helping other startups. He was a founder at Angle, a software company focused on applying voice recognition and text-to-speech technologies to access and visualize web content. Shane guided the technology strategy for Angle, along with product design and architecture. Angle's initial product is Earl, a voice driven app for iPhone that reads web content to the user.

Before helping to found Angle, Shane founded addresses.com which was subsequently aquired by inome.com. He also started and ran a company called Madrona Group (not the investment company) that was focused on online directory services.

Originally from a small town in eastern Oregon, Shane graduated from the University of Oregon then went to graduate school at the University of Rochester.
